Our History
Ancient Era has been traveling throughout Indonesia studying the diversity of the arts and culture since 1987. Paying close attention to the detail of rare tribal masks and statues
throughout Indonesia, our Balinese craftsmen have been reviving much of what has been lost due to modernization throughout the islands. We have been designing and exporting our own
unique handicrafts, inspired by these 17,000 fascinating islands forming the archipelago, for 16 years. Ancient Era brings together a unique blend of Indonesian indigenous cultural
arts with a twist of foreign influence creating a unique collection of masks, statues and ethnic handicrafts all carved by hand. Keep in mind that some of these items are replicas of

Our Facility
Our factory, shipping centre and showroom is located in Gianyar, Bali and can be visited at any time by appointment. We have more than 200 talented wood carvers, sculptors, artists
and painters who meticulously hand carve and paint our unique masks, statues, decor items and collectibles. We use 2 large 32m3 drying kilns for all of our wood ensuring quality handicrafts.
Please note that because our masks, statues and primitive art are all carved by hand no two items are ever exactly the same. We are currently building a larger showroom at our facility to give us the ability to display more items for our overseas buyers. |

Because access to the web and gathering information is so easily obtainable we have taken measures to protect our products and maintain a unique website offering unique and
customized products. Therefore all the items
displayed on our website have been copyrighted in the United States. Our aim is to keep our serious customers happy by always providing them with handicrafts of originality, not items you
see in every other shop or fair you visit. Our current clientele includes some of the largest home ware and home decor suppliers and store chains in the USA and all will agree that the uniqueness
and quality of our products keeps us one step ahead of the pack.

Order Criteria
When ordering our handicrafts we offer our customers the best wholesale price possible as we only deal in wholesale orders. Our prices are based on a minimum order of items to the value of US$5000 or a
20' shipping container. Our quoted wholesale prices do not include packing and shipping costs and these can be quoted on final order destination, volume and products. Our Wholesale prices are quoted in US Dollars and can subject to change due to fluctuations of the US$ but final agreed quotation/invoicing cost of an order will not
change. Through past experience we have found that this is the most practical and economical way of buying goods, packing and
shipping for your retail market. As our products are unique and not mass produced our orders are all made to customers requirements so please allow approximately 6-7 weeks lead time for
delivery. Please add an extra week to this lead time (7-8 weeks) during the wet season (Mid October - Mid April).
We can however supply shipments via LCL (Loose Container Load) or Air Cargo but do advise that for this type of shipment, to be economical, should only be considered when ordering small, light items so that your shipping costs can be spread over a large volume of items. Note that a minimum order size of 1cubic meter is applicable for LCL cargo. |

Please also note that a minimum order quantity may apply to some products due to the fact that they may come from small manufacturers & suppliers on one of the many thousands of islands that make up the Indonesian Archipelago.
There is no standard price for shipping because of the many factors involved including country destination, the amount purchased and current container rates. Ancient Era, as a consolidator, has many years of experience in packing and delivering your orders in the most efficient way possible. We can also arrange to deliver
your order to a packing and shipping agent of your choice if you prefer.
